Hospital Director

Beth Buckpitt

Beth has worked in human healthcare since 2011, holding diverse roles across pharmacy, benefits, healthcare IT, education and training, and clinical operations. Her leadership experience spans primary care, surgery, and urgent care, with a strong emphasis on developing teams, supporting growth, and fostering environments where people feel valued and connected. Prior to her healthcare career, Beth worked in both corporate retail and privately owned small businesses—experiences that gave her a unique ability to bridge perspectives between frontline staff and organizational leadership.

Drawn to veterinary medicine by her lifelong connection with animals, Beth is energized by working with a team dedicated to exceptional patient care and compassionate service for pets and their families. She believes deeply in creating a supportive, communicative, and trusting environment—one where teams feel safe, burnout is addressed proactively, and strong relationships form the foundation of success. Known for her positivity, empathy, and realistic expectations, Beth leads with a people-first, pet-centered approach.

A Williston, Vermont native, Beth grew up less than a mile from Peak—back when much of the surrounding area was still farmland. Her roots in the community make this role especially meaningful.

At home, Beth is happily surrounded by her husband, bonus kiddo, and their three beloved dogs:

  • Gunner – her refined, nearly 15-year-old pug mix

  • Quincey – her reactive, vocal, deeply emotional 3-year-old shepherd/husky/cattle dog mix

  • Maple – her joyful, wiggly, not-so- “small mixed breed” rescue pup who has grown into a 60-pound bundle of love. Maple joined the family six months after the passing of their cherished pup, Pai Mei. Despite arriving in very rough shape, she has grown into a thriving, happy “buffalo,” as the family affectionately calls her. Maple and Quincey often nap with their paws crossed over each other—a sight Beth treasures.

When she’s not at work, Beth enjoys weight training, hiking with her dogs, rollerblading, and staying active. A fun fact about her: she won her first bodybuilding competition at just 15 years old.
