Josh Sparago

Dr. Josh Sparago received his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts after completing his clinical year at the University of Tennessee in 2017. He went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in 2018, followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine in 2021, both at Louisiana State University.

As a Diplomate of the American College of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Dr. Sparago has spent time in private practice in California and as a teaching clinician at the University of Montreal in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. Dr. Sparago also worked as a locum at Peak over the past year before joining the team full-time. His professional interests include hepatobiliary diseases, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and immune-mediated diseases.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Sparago enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and reading.
