About
Dr. Kelly O’Neill grew up in Vermont’s Northeast kingdom and left to attend school. She recently moved back to Vermont and is excited to join Peak as the Associate Medical Director and also seeing patients in our urgent care department.
Dr. O’Neill graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT. She then completed small animal internal medicine residency at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is board certified in small animal internal medicine.
Since then, Dr. O’Neill worked at a specialty/emergency hospital in Decatur, Georgia as the Global Health Security Advisor at U.S.A.I.D. in Dhaka, Bangladesh and as an internal medicine consultant for Idexx. Dr. O’Neill has been working at Peak and other clinics in Vermont for the past year before joining Peak full time. Clinical interests include renal disease, endocrinology, and immune-mediated diseases.
In her free time, Dr. O’Neill enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening, and spending time with her family including three dogs, two cats, and many chickens.
